         ANNUAL REPORT (2023-24)

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

It is with great pleasure that I present to you the annual report of  S.D.Model School, Jagadhri for the academic year 2023-2024. This year has been a journey of growth, achievement, and resilience for our school community.

Our School was established in 1986 by the S.D.Educational Managing Committee of Sh. S.D.Sabha (Regd.) Jagadhri. It was Provisionally affiliated to the C.B.S.E. in 1998 upto class X, it was got upgraded to 10+2 level in April 2002. It is Now Provisionally affiliated to C.B.S.E. It was a small seedling planted, watered, cared and nourished and over the years has grown into a full fledged tree. The School results have brought laurels to us and we affirm to keep these results continuous. We emphasize to provide recent knowledge to the young buds. It is said that education really means to prepare us to be fit citizens who can serve societies, draw out of us our mental and intellectual potentials, very much like the potter who moulds clay into clay vessels. Education has the ability to mould the child’s personality and to ensure that each child develops to his full potential and also prepare him to recognize the course in life that he is best suited to follow. At S.D. Model School a competent and dedicated team of motivated teachers work towards the realization of this goal, ensuring that the child’s personality develops in all spheres. We also believe in filling up voids, to achieve our goals.

The school aims at providing quality education , propagating patriotic, social and moral values for producing responsible citizens and ensuring physical, spiritual and mental growth of the students. That is why the parents feel genuinely proud that their children receive education at the campus with the most congenial atmosphere.

S.D. Model School was set up in 1986 by the S.D. Sabha to the need for high quality education in the region. Since then, it has come a long way. The School has been upgraded to Std. XII under the CBSE Syllabus. The School Management firmly believes in imparting all-round education to students in order to develop the inherent potentialities of each child. A spectrum of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, sports, creative arts, performing arts etc. are hence a part of the students daily routine. The School gives special emphasis to teaching via modern pedagogical techniques. The School's path breaking initiatives include English and Mathematics Labs, etc.
